New Album COCOON with Sönke Meinen

Nach fünf Jahren des Komponierens, Übens, Probens, Aufnehmens und Produzierens, hat das Duoalbum COCOON mit Sönke Meinen nun endlich das Licht der Welt erblickt! COCOON ist für uns ein ganz besonderes Album: Nach 15 Jahren enger Freundschaft und nach durchaus verschiedenen Karrierewegen im Anschluss an unsere gemeinsamen Konzerte zwischen 2011 und 2013 wuchs in uns die Neugier, wie unser Duo heute klingen würde. In unserem kreativen Kokon sind dabei elf Stücke entstanden, die sicher keiner von uns hätte alleine schreiben können und die eine ganze Reihe der über die Jahre gesammelten Einflüsse, Erlebnisse und Inspirationen vereinen.

Die CD könnt ihr wie gewohnt im Shop auf Sönkes Website bestellen oder bei Konzerten am Merchstand kaufen. Ab Ende September findet ihr dort auch Schallplatten!

After five years of composing, practising, rehearsing, recording and producing, the duo album COCOON with Sönke Meinen has finally seen the light of day! COCOON is a very special album for us: after 15 years of close friendship and quite different career paths following our joint concerts between 2011 and 2013, we became curious about how we would sound as a duo today. In our creative cocoon, we wrote eleven pieces that neither of us could have written on our own and that unite a whole range of influences, experiences and inspirations that we have gathered over the years on one album.
